Description
Recording features 6 stainless steel mixing bowls.
Instrumentation:
1 or more players each with sustaining percussion instruments. For example:
6 metal bowls and/or 6 large triangles with different ‘pitches’/timbres arranged low to high.
Vibraphone and/or piano - reading the notated pitches as if with a treble clef and keeping the sustain pedal on throughout. Can be doubled an octave higher.
Optional: An ensemble of strings, and/or organ, etc. playing eleven chords.
