- Reflections on a Haunted House: Piano album
- Album and sheet music release
'Reflections on a Haunted House' comprises sixty short pieces, thirty of which are for piano.
The titles of the piano movements are taken from the short story 'A Haunted House' by Virginia Woolf (1882-1941). Woolf's 'A Haunted House' was first published in the 1921 collection 'Monday or Tuesday' and later in the 1944 collection 'A Haunted House and Other Short Stories'.
The remaining thirty pieces in the collection are all electronic pieces, half of which (fifteen movements) feature spoken text taken from the article 'A Haunted House' by Eleanor Mildred Sidgwick (1845-1936), published in the Journal of the Society for Psychical Research November, 1888.
If performed with all the pieces the whole work will have a duration of around seventy minutes, consisting of the piano movements (with or without 'backing tapes'), the electronic pieces, and electronic pieces with spoken text, presented in a regular alternating pattern.
'The album 'Reflections on a Haunted House' is now available on Spotify, iTunes, and other digital music stores.
The piano score is available for download from MusicaNeo, Sheet Music Plus and other online stores.
